Solutions Driven by LSRP Expertise, Science, and Integrity

Penn Jersey has a full team of environmental scientists, chemists, and geologists qualified to work in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our clients include law firms, realtors, commercial and residential property owners, developers, industrial facilities, commercial establishments, and municipalities, all of whom seek out our expertise and decades of experience.

With four New Jersey LSRPs on staff, Professional Geologists for Pennsylvania’s Act 2 Land Recycling Program, and over 30 years of leading best practices through exemplary work, PennJersey is fully licensed to assess and remediate sites on both sides of the Delaware River. We deliver results the right way, honestly, and efficiently.

Whether through normal operations such as heating systems and maintenance materials, tax foreclosures or eminent domain matters, abandoned sites, or other situations, municipalities often have a “roster” of facilities that pose an environmental risk with significant liabilities and costs. Such facilities typically include:

=

Public Works/Support & Maintenance

=

Vehicle Fueling/Maintenance

=

Aboveground/Underground Storage Tanks (ASTs/USTs)

=

Schools/Child Care

=

Police or Public Firing Ranges

=

Post-NFA maintenance, monitoring, and operational oversight

=

Regulatory reporting requirements

=

Fire Training Facilities

=

Recreation Areas/Parks

=

Tax Foreclosures/Eminent Domain

=

Linear Construction (Roadways, Utilities Construction & Maintenance)

=

Redevelopment & Brownfields

The above list represents some of the projects PennJersey has undertaken to protect and support municipalities and prevent potentially huge costs in terms of both current and future environmental liabilities.

In particular, PennJersey has extensive school facility experience and has been re-appointed as the LSRP/environmental consultant for the Hoboken BOE, the Perth Amboy BOE, and the New Brunswick BOE annually since 2013. Mr. Ferguson and Mr. Call have also personally managed the environmental investigation and remediation of numerous key projects on behalf of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA), and various school districts across NJ.

Also, Mr. Katz served as the LSRP in the replacement of sports fields in Pequannock, Bloomfield, and Hillside when contaminated materials were identified during the initial work at those sites.
